I'm in kitchen sales/planning and we do sell pulls like that (pressed into the top of the doors). But with new fridges/dishwashers you need to clamp your fingers really well to open them. Not suitable for rheumatic hands and such. Very popular in the Netherlands though.

I think you might have to check with the cabinet maker who is fabricating the panels for the fridge to get his sign-off. Send him the spec sheet for the appliance pulls and the fridge panel installation instructions. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work (see similar examples below), but no sense buying them until you get the OK. Good luck!

As ringreation mentioned, SZ fridges need a real tug to open them. Quite a hard tug. I recommend you go to an appliance store that carries them and see for yourself. I doubt the finger pulls you linked will give you enough grip.

There’s a ton of minimalist kitchen photos online with SZ fridges. Look at those for inspiration. Your zeal for minimalism may get in the way of functionality.

I wouldn't be happy with those pulls. I have 36" & 24" SZ integrated columns and they can be hard to open. Those pulls might cause some women to break nails when they grab the pull and don't realize that they need a very tight grip to actually open the fridges. Anyone with finger, hand or wrist issues will also not be happy.

Sub-Zero does make edge style pulls for their fridges, but they do go the full length/width of the door/drawer.

Hi Stacey, I am also getting 30" refrigerator and 24" freezer columns but can't decide between the sub-zero or the Hestan. I am leaning towards the sub-zero but have read a lot of complaints about them Have you had any issues so far. Thank you.

I bought custom handles (a different style) for my sub zero and they are always loose. The door does practically glue shut. Does anyone know of an installer who can help fix my problem. The screw holding on my handle at one end just broke!
