Here are my blocks. They went together quite easily. Vasu's tips were very welcome. I cut the hourglass units larger and was able to sliver trim. And starch helped keep those bias edges in line.

Theresa, those are great blocks! I would never guess they were the same pattern without a close investigation. Amazing what color and placement can do.

My thoughts, too, Lois. After my split second first look, I thought she had used the wrong pattern for one of them. LOL

Lois, I'm using a group of fabrics I bought at a resale shop. Obviously someone had something planned but didn't get it made. There is enough fabric for a queen. But the set is missing high congtrast and plain fabrics, so I'm pulling from my stash to break it up. Here's my BOM.

Lois, I'm not using the same fabric but trying to keep it in the general vicinity with scraps and have a 'flowery' fabric in there somewhere. So far, it's been easy to use the center of a nine patch but we'll see what other blocks are planned. :-) Part of the challenge. lol

All the blocks pictured look so nice! I really do like this block! I still haven't had time to put mine together yet, maybe later today. Lois, I am trying to stick with the same 4-6 fabrics I've been using for the other BOM, but I reserve the right to substitute if necessary. ;-P

My second block. The yellow is more vibrant than the pic. And the green matches the green in the flowered fabric.
