My "rescue" violet is growing!

I got this violet for 50 cents at Lowe's. It had root rot, but the leaves & stem were healthy, so I just took off most of the bottom leaves, cut the rotted bottom of the stem, put a little rootone on it, and stuck it in a pot. This was the setup I used, just a loose plastic bag held up with plant name stakes.

I've been watching carefully, and today, I actually saw growth, so I fertilized it for the first time with 1/4 strength 15-30-15. Didn't want to buy AV fertilizer until I was sure I could save it. I also have rooted 4 leaves from it, so I'm looking forward to little mouse ears soon.

Of course, the flowers were dying when I got it, so I got a vague idea that they are pink, and won't know until it blooms, but hopefully, that won't be too long! BTW, that "fuzz" on the leaves is soil, not mold. I brushed them after I took this picture.
