My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Mostly finished product. Still need to accessorize - new shades, area rug, stools etc. will add some pops of color to it. Overall I think it looks much updated! What do y’all think?

    Georgia, nope we painted them ourselves using Ben Moore advance paint. We rolled the frames and my husband used his spray gun for the doors..The cabinets are a mixture of. Wood & particle board & we didn’t have issues with painting. They had a veneer finish which I’ve cleaned with Murphy’s before and that had no effect on the final outcome. We just lightly sanded them first, primed, then painted. They have held up just fine for 8mo now

      I was wanting to do that.
      I just posted a new thread last night for advice because my painter told me yesterday paint isn't an option on wood cabinets that have been polished with any type of products containing silicone. Think Pledge,Murphy's Wood Soap.

      Fifamom, countertops are granite. I was afraid the look was too much white so I will accessorize with colors .. maybe blues? Not sure yet. Have a newborn at home so I’m sure I won’t be getting those final touches done for some time!

      I believe dove white by BM . Still looks white but not a bright white

      Anyone know if I should be sealing this grout for the backsplash?

      I applied 2 coats of sealer(drying well between coats)to my backsplash tile & grout 10 yrs ago and they still look great.
