Hi Craig, I think I would steer away from more gray, white etc. How about a navy or I noticed there's a sassy petrol blue? these dark shades will still be neutral enough but will offer a bit more contrast to your pale scheme and dark enough to hide the dirt. See what you can find in the art/wallpaper dept. for your big wall then you will be better placed to pick a colour for the sofa.

Hello Craig, How about adding a little burst of colour. I think a burnt Orange goes beautifully with a Light Grey wall. Or you could go for a

Gold again this looks lovely with a light or dark palette.

I think colour is a good option but then again you need to be 100% happy with it as sofas are a bit of an investment.

Hi Craig, that is a great sized space! I agree with all the above comments, definitely go for a bolder colour for the sofa, it will provide contrast, i especially like the burnt orange one. You could accessorise it with a mixture of plain & patterned cushions to break up the colour as well as adding texture. i would also include a rug as it zones the area and put some art on the walls too, oh and a statement floor lamp too! Have fun with the space and post pictures when done.

She bought the new @1974 from a place in Belfast that did some Italian furniture, passed on to me about 25 years back as I rhymed on that much about them! The original glass top table got cracked so the table you see I got 2 years back to compliment them, I had a lovely white acid etched top!

I'd stick with a grey sofa, as you really like your white, chrome, greys. Not everyone likes bright colours and that's fine. I've put some things together for you, California Cloudy seems to work with your floor and isn't too dark or too light, I think. On your other post, about the art, I've suggested a mural for the dining room wall, and I've put one that I think looks pretty fab in this moodboard, but who knows... you might hate it :-)

You've chosen cool colours, straight shapes and hard materials so far. Bringing in some softness (fabric), natural materials (wood, plants) and round shapes will make it cosier.

@beano Bonaldo Octa table by any chance? And do I spot Foscarini O-Space lights too?

Hi @danielle h, yes your correct, octa table and two o space light, that table is soooo heavy, took 4 men to light the glass top! just recieved two zanotta shell side tables for beside our bed, so close in looks to the o space lights! Love them :-)

We have the Bonaldo Big table with ceramic top in the showroom at the moment, weighs a ton!

That’s a lovely piece too! They do some great furniture! Don’t think I’ll be changing for years though! Love it that much, ohh on the point of weight, the bedside units that I got are a tonne weight too! Was actually quite shocked at the weight, lovely matte finish too :-)
