We're finally tackling our home's ugly exterior. First up - portico & stone walkway. Next - paint. Finally - new lighting. Everything will be painted the same color except for the stone (so siding and shingles will be painted). I'm leaning towards Ben Moore's Swiss Coffee - a warm white with matching trim. We'll change the shutters to something more traditional and I'll likely go with an olive green color. We clearly need to update the landscaping too, but getting nervous about going all white. What are your thoughts? Also - do the shutters above the garage and the top middle need to be wider? Whats the rule of thumb on shutters? THANKS!
