As an Interior Design Professional, I get to see a lot of homes & consequently, a lot of bad designs. Sometimes when people either try to do it themselves or ask the wrong professionals for advice in order to save money, the results are costly and disappointing.

Don't get me wrong, there are definitely people who are not professionally trained nor have experience in this field, yet they absolutely have an eye for design and are capable of creating beautiful spaces.
