looking for a mirror in this eating area

Art work was haphazardly placed after wall were painted and looking to place a mirror here.

My question is why a mirror? Are you trying to bring more light into the space? What will the mirror reflect? Other than the table and chairs what is beyond that space that will be seen in the reflection of the mirror? Currently the space is void of color. One large scale piece of art would be fabulous on the wall. When I say large scale I mean table height to just at or above the wall speaker height.

Why mirror when you have art and BTW best hung not staggered or get one large piece
