The lawn actually looks great, but while mowing today, my older Toro mower started to spew white smoke. Then almost immediately, much darker smoke.
It turns out that when you forget to check the oil at the beginning of the season, it may have burned off quite a bit and be running dry. So, word to the wise. Remember to check the fluids in your mower...
....And set your garden waste bin up after a wind storm. Yes, yes, I'll get to it!
