You could build a small patio out front though where you could have a small sitting area. Where are you located? Can you take a picture from farther back? I couldn't find any great examples, but hopefully this will give you the idea. You would want to keep materials consistent with your current house and scale would depend on what else you've got going on.

First thing to do is paint your downspouts so they disappear. Then remove the plant on the steps. I'm tired of stubbing my toe on that thing. Put a tall planter to the left of the opening with a specimen plant in it. Done.

You've got a lot going on with your front facade. With the stone and brick pattern and the style of your garage door, I don't think you need anymore embellishment. Perhaps you could rework your landscaping so that you have a wider walk to your front door and more flowers, less shrubs. Also consider replacing your front door with something more unique.
