Cool looking contemporary house. I'm not seeing where you say the windows are different style...all the ones facing front street look like they match.

I would paint the brick. The brick you have is a contemporary, consistent manufactured brick...not a rustic, used Chicago style brick. I would paint it to coordinate with your new paint scheme. It will give a nice texture and you won't be as limited with the red brick color.

mmilos, I was thinking that since the other windows on the front are either single or in groups of three, that the two windows on the protruding section look different? Maybe not too noticeable?

The two front windows are fine. They have similar but not identical proportions to the other windows. If those are for a garage, the way to enhance the appearance of the house is to keep the cars in the garage and not block the front view. Don't paint the brick-it's part of the design contrast.

I like everything about the house except the white with the red. At the very least, the frames on the windows should be a dark color/finish. Then decide what is correct for the siding.

If you recolor the brick, stain it instead of painting it for longevity.

You still might be able to use a semi transparent stain on the wood to keep the grain of the siding.

This combination of dark frames and dark siding could look very nice on your home.

If you stick with the white trim, then consider a gray for the siding

Should the railing on the back be painted black?

The railing should coordinate with the color of the trim & maybe the windows.

Or perhaps change to cable railings system.

Don't paint the brick. Paint the siding and window frame a greige that harmonizes with the brick grout like this:

If the house is dark in the center, you might want to add a line of clerestory windows.

This house is not contemporary; it is modern, mid century modern to be exact, and a good example of it. You have lots of nice details that should be preserved, so the first rule is DO NO HARM.

I would avoid painting the brick if you can. Beverly has given some nice examples above. Let me try painting you house and see if I can restore a little more MCM character. Back in a bit.

You have the perfect opportunity to celebrate your brick! I would go for black or charcoal paint, keeping the brick natural. You could do the trim in the same black/charcoal or refinish to a medium wood stain to accent it or even go with white. You could use a matching wood door or paint your door a bright orange or yellow for a nice pop of color! There's a show called "Boise Boys" who do great work that shows the style I'm talking about. Don't paint the brick. The siding/windows would look good with a dark gray/ bronze color (like the windows on the back of the house).

I didn't do anything with the garage (?) in front because, frankly, I think it needs to be reworked. If it's still a garage, I'd open it up. If it's been converted to living space, that's a whole 'nother matter.

No need to add a 3-gang window up front, leave the configuration as is, but paint the frames to match the rest of the house.

I second @WillisBakerDesign and others who opt for a medium to dark grey or charcoal for the wood and windows. You could think about painting the roof soffit and fascia a different color, possibly a lighter grey. Or make it the same grey as the walls, but highlight the beams that protrude under the roof, that's a pretty mid century modern thing to do.
