Apparently, the second product is a Bt formulation for adult beetles. The label comes with a long list of precautions and warnings.....haven't waded through it.

I had not heard of this. Thank you for sharing this, tigrikt. I have used traditional Bt to control bag worms with great success and so to see a different strain to control JBs is exciting.

Mine shipped yesterday so should be here Thursday. Friday is not supposed to rain - we will see! They also have the Grubgone. I am going to research that and may use that late summer/early fall also.

lkayetwvz5Good research. As far as mixing, we recommend 2 – 4 oz per gallon of water. Mix well and continue to mix during application to keep a consistent mix. Apply to foliage every 7-10 days while beetles are present. Don’t let irrigation or rain wash the product off the leaves where the beetles are feeding. If rain is forecasted go ahead and mix in a sticker such as NuFilm-P or -17 which will help keep product on the leaves. Once ingested the beetles will stop feeding and eventually die. If infestation is high, you can use the higher mix rates shown in the label; just be aware of possible clogging issues in your spray nozzle.
