I would paint them white .

I would be just as tempted to keep the stain although painting white would lighten up the hallway..

I would keep the stain too, on a house from that era.

I am not usually a big wood lover but I kind of like those dark doors.

I like them white. I owned a house with these old 5 panel doors and they were all painted white. I really liked the look. It was clean, classic and simple. The paint allowed the doors to show themselves without the dark colour being the overwhelming statement about them.

And white painted doors are VERY forgiving when it comes to wall paint and floor colour. White goes with everything.

I think I'd keep the ones with glass panes as they are - stained, and paint the panel doors to match the white trim. If I were in a room with the door left open, I think it would be less disconcerting if it were white, than a big dark rectangle in the space.

I think the dark doors are beautiful with the white trim and wood floor. I think it would be a shame to paint them white. If you are concerned about it feeling too dark or busy I’d paint the doors without glass a lighter solid color, not white. The contrast between the white, wood, and additional color is what I love about it.

A light blue-grey to compliment the red/gold in the floor would lighten it a bit. I still love the dark doors though!

I second keeping the glass doors the dark wood and painting the others white. I love the wood on the glass, but think the hallway doors make it look a bit too dark.

As you are working on a vintage 1925 Colonial revival, you probably should keep as many of the original details as possible. That would point to restaining the doors. They look awesome with the white trim.
