First thank you for responding. I saw where you’d helped a lot of people and hoped you would. Yes, 6” paver soil and then sand digging under was making no sense the more I tried to justify, especially since I could release the water as you said. What happens is whatever falls from the sky or drops from irrigation (haven’t moved head yet) is what stays in that corner, otherwise, all drains well off to the left and right as planned. I saw a drain as you’ve drawn and think that option is at lease worth a try. I just need to make sure and slope it about an inch or inch and half to left and I can run it right out into the yard. There will be mulch behind the corner where you drew water escaping. Would you suggest a natural escape there or piece a drainage pipe and run it under the mulch about 5 ft into the yard. This is where the yard slopes nicely away from house from original grading. Alternatively, there is a Drainage pipe from gutter I could attach to that actually runs nicely around the house. Thanks so much. I’ve added a picture to show where the gutter/drainage I could tie into? The problem is that is all paver soil also where you see sand. Digging there would be a monster.

@Yard are you talking about what we called a deco drain in AZ, that's like 1-1.5" wide? Could also do a 4" channel drain. They make really nice decorative grates, and we've also set them a little low and run stone or pavers over 2/3 of the grate so you never see it. OP didn't give a location but based on the SiteOne bag I'm guessing northeast or mid-atlantic, so I wouldn't trust a deco drain.

In general, I'm talking about concept, not products. If it comes to it, one has to figure out what product can make the concept work. Or, take the advice of Rev, who is very knowledgeable about specific products.

Spencer, I would not try to run a water escape device (trough, pipe, etc.) a few feet out into the yard, but let the water escape in the shortest distance.

Either way the idea is sound, I just mentioned the 4" because it looks like the OP may be able to just pull up the border pavers along the wall and not cut anything, then pull up just enough field pavers to plumb out around the column. It's kinda awesome when a good solution also saves you additional work!

This is perfect! You guys should get paid for your advise. Maybe you do but seems collaborative ideas always come to best solution. I can definitely pull pull border pavers in 5 minutes, install drain, 2/3 covered with paver and water can escape normally where the other water escapes with no issues. Thanks!
