I was given a bunch of these by a neighbor, who said they were a "really pretty purple iris".

Clearly not iris, but can't think of what spring blooming bulb

might resemble iris -- although perhaps it doesn't really resemble iris at all.

Would you recommend that I plant them now, or just keep them in the cool dry basement until fall?
