See the pretty white one. It's gone. Daughter went out to feed them this morning and it got out. While putting the food in. I spent the morning modifying the loft so she can put in food and water with out opening the big door. It was a very stressful morning. Hopefully the problem is solved.

Sounds like our chickens, they know where their bed is lol.

My daughter wanted chickens. I said, "when you have your own house"!

So, now she has her own house and she has chickens. They are like pets. When we visit we have the best eggs and play with the chickens. Wish I had done it before.

Irma, about 18 miles as the pigeon flies. 34 to drive.

Jane chickens are great I use to have a coop and might again. Had ducks too.

18 miles??? If they weren't extinct, I'd say you have a homing pigeon!!! I had a cat that was kidnapped and taken to a town 20 miles away. We knew who had taken him, but couldn't ever catch them. They pretty much kept him indoors and hid him when we went looking. It took him a year, but he escaped and one day, he showed up in the back yard. Animals are amazing.

I have racing pigeons, yes pigeon manure is very good stuff for gardens.
