I don’t think you need the mirrors beside the bed, but if you want them to reflect lamplight, move them down behind the lamps. They won’t do anything but reflect the lamps and the lamp light when lit, but they may look better.
The art above the bed looks funny...two very similar unframed pieces, and a bit high. I think a long horizontal piece may look better, but if you keep the two blue nudes, mat and frame them to match the headboard.

The mirrors are not large enough to be hung over the nightstands, they would have to be double that height to make sense there. Also the art work just doesn’t work there. Color and size aren’t right to go over the headboard.

You need to lower them just as you thought! It will look a million times better in my book. Check out the example below. Good luck!

Once you lower the mirrors I don't think you need the artwork above the bed. If you do want to keep it bring them in closer together. Also move the shade on the ceiling light so it faces the drapery. I would also try not to have the cord from the beside lamp showing, move the night stand over a bit. Is the bed centered on the wall.

Yes, mirrors behind the lamps...about two inches above the night stands. The blue pictures...while hanging the right height and are pretty, do you have anything blue in your room rather than the two pillows? You could frame the pictures and put them about 2 inches apart. Or get one piece of art to hang over your bed with colors in it that reflect your drapes and betting.

The purpose of the mirrors is to increase the light reflection in the room, so they get placed behind the lamps. I would have selected mirrors where the frame is held closer to the wall.

The white linens on the bed appear dingy and wrinkled. They may need to be replaced or re fluffed

I might have selected ceramic lamps instead of the candlestick chrome lamps..

I love the colors but it is all too matching for me... then there's the headboard that looks just cream and like it completely doesn't belong. I would remove the 2 pictures and lower the mirrors. I couldn't even appreciate the tray ceiling because nothing defines it - get some molding up there to play it up. If you must have something over the bed so more of a sculptural piece or a multi framed feature.

Is that head board removable? I feel like it is too tall for the width of the bed. If it could be made shorter?

It would also be nice to see what it looks like with the shades open and maybe some plants in there. It feels a bit unfinished.

Lower the mirrors, put the art above the bed much closer together, and fold the green coverlet again so you have more of the cream bedding showing. You need some contrasts of light and dark.

as mentioned, the mirrors are way too high. they should be an inch or so above your night stand.

I don't like your blue artwork above the headboard. it just doesn't work with your decor.

Look at these pictures and do something similar. (notice that on some the space above the headboard is kept clear)

Try doing your bedding as in some of the pictures.

the mirrored frames go w/the mirrors. the artwork is also complimentary to the surrounding furnishings.

As many have already stated, the mirrors need to be lowered (but make sure the top of the mirrors is not the same height as the headboard), and the art should be closer together. You can either go a few inches closer together or put them almost completely together with just a couple of inches between them so they almost become one larger piece of art.

I agree, it doesn't look quite right. As I looked more closely at your picture I realized that you have way too many pairs. The nightstands are (likely) the same; the lamps are the same; the two pictures above the headboard are too similar in size, focus, color and canvas material; the mirrors are the same and in the same location. My eye longed for variation, which is what I think will make a big difference..

I could be wrong, but the pictures, at least as I see them on my monitor, look commercial, like from a décor store. In a private space I'd put something significant to you, not 'wall art'.

At any rate, I think those colors don't go with the walls.

I'd put the mirrors high enough that you can see yourself up to your head. Personally, I dislike mirrors that have no real function (hiding them behind lamps). Reflecting the lamps is not a function, because it doesn't make things brighter, that would violate the laws of physics.

Make a frame of 1”x6” lumber to put under each cabinet, as they’re currently too low. They could be painted light to match the cabinets or dark to match the headboard. Butt the mirror and hang them horizontally above the headboard. Matt and frame the pictures, hanging them just above the lampshades.

Thanks everyone for all your wonderful suggestions. I plan on replacing the nightstands so will look for something taller and not so matchy matchy. The art above the bed is called "Water Women" by Grace Pope that I purchased from a gallery. I haven't framed them yet (afraid of how much it would be). But looking at all the pictures posted here I realize I don't have a rug. Thanks again.

No artwork over the bed and lower the mirrors. I also think a rug partially under your bed would look nice.
