You can find the measurements of every dishwasher online yourself. Every listing on Home Depot and Lowes and PC Richards and Menard's and...has measurements, as do the manufacturers' sites.

Can they run the pipes through the wall behind the DW instead of moving location in floor? plastic piping?

I think the Blomberg DWT56502SS (21.625" deep) is about as shallow as you're going to get with a 24" dishwasher.

You spend more money buying "OFF" the ususal dimensions for nearly everything, and you get less. Fix the plumbing issue. Then get whatever dishwasher you heart desires. Long term? Assuming seven to ten years? It's a plumbing cost divided by those same years. ...........that's why you fix the plumbing issue. A hundred and whatever per year, to never have the problem again.

Are those pipes supplying the dishwasher or do they travel to the sink? Typically the water is tapped off the valves under the sink... If possible, can they cut and cap these pipes at the floor level ( or 1/2" up ) so you can have the 24 " depth to do a proper dishwasher and do the hook ups under the sink?

The plumbers are here now. They say that there isn't enough room to just tie it off at the sink; they have to go through the basement ceiling. Fini
