Wisconsin-Illinois Lily show this weekend!

For those who may be in Illinois or Wisconsin USA:

Wisconsin-Illinois Lily Society's annual show is coming up this weekend! At the Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Rd, Glencoe, IL 60022; which is a northern suburb of Chicago.

Saturday, July 6, 2019, noon – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, July 7, 2019, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Wisconsin-Illinois Lily Society's annual show features floral arrangements in four artistic categories, and a beautiful, judged display of more than 100 lily blooms in different varieties. Visitors can get tips from experts on how to grow and propagate lilies.

If you wish to enter a stem into the competition, you DO NOT have to be a member of our organization. Just bring your stems between 8 and 9 am Saturday so you can get your entries labeled and groomed before judging begins. Judging takes place before the show opens to the public at noon.

Concurrently with the show is an annual fine art festival, so you can enjoy the Lily Show, a world-famous botanic garden and an art festival.

The Chicago Botanic Garden does charge a parking fee. Please visit the site linked below for more details. If you are a member of any of the US gardens that participate in the Reciprocal Gardens Admission program, you can show your membership card to have that fee waived. Discounts for Cook County residents.
