Before and Mid-Project - DIY Floor Refinishing

Hi all,
My fiance and I have just purchased a 2-bedroom Cape Cod/Farmhouse built in 1941. We love love love our new home and there are a ton of projects to work on! First up is refinishing our original red oak floors before we move in. They were so messed up! A previous DIY refinishing job (circa late 80's) left drum sander markers throughout plus just about every other flaw imaginable. I'm about 2/3rds done with the first floor and they are looking nice and smooth. Pics attached. I'm posting mid-project because this is so much work and I could use a little reminder of how much better they are looking.
