Waterstone Faucets: Standard or Angled?

Hi! I'm planning a complete gut renovation of my kitchen. The sink styles that I like include the Kohler Prolific, Franke Professional (orginal and 2.0) and Nantucket Professional. Some of these singles have a center drain and some are offset to the top. As for faucets I have fallen in love with the Waterstone Industrial faucets which come in a Standard and Angled versions (leaving out Extended Reach because those are too darn big!).

is there a rule or calculation to help you figure out which faucet works best with each drain location? Standard with Top set, Angled with Center set? is the water supposed to hit the sink or the drain center? At +$1300 for a faucet I definitely want to make the right choice. Thanks, all!

No need to justify how you spend your own money. Don’t listen to people who try to tell you what THEY think costs too much. The exception would be for those overpriced rip-off junk items that this forum might feel obligated to let you know about. Obviously Waterstone not that. And BTW, I see the same people decrying a Waterstone’s cost then say Subzero fridges are the only way to go and they cost $12k and up.

all sinks are in the 30" area: Franke Pro 2 (no accessories in sink), Kohler Prolific (white grid), Nantucket Pro (with cutting board)

The water.................is going to go DOWN the drain no matter which. Meaning...it does NOT matter. At all. Get the one you like.

With all the fabulous faucets out there, I don't see a reason on earth for a 1300 dollar faucet.

Grohe, Brizo, Moen, and the list goes on. Some things are not worth their future trouble : ) in parts when there is a fail.

I'll give you it has a "lifetime warranty"

For the sink, offset drain is always better than center drain, given the choice. I personally am not a fan of sink with accessories - though there are many who love them. To me, they are just more stuff to have to put away, or they will get in the way. I already have a cutting board (not plastic! what will you do when that plastic insert cutting board in the sink gets stained and unsightly?) and a colander that I love.

I would get the angled faucet. The less you have to reach toward the back of the sink to use the faucet, the better for your back, even if it's just a couple inches difference.

I have spent the last 15 years in a kitchen with 4 drawers (yes, only 4) no wider than 9", a wobbly wall mounted sink and a cooktop that can't fit 2 saute pans at the same time. This is my forever kitchen and only things that make me happy every time I use them are going into it. I have served my time, and now I am getting paroled.

Waterstone faucets are beautiful. Go for it and enjoy! Maybe you already have it installed? I really like the Industrial 9800/9810 for a non-traditional look.

I am going with Nantucket Pro Series (SR-PS-3220-16). Small radius, ledge, bunch of included accessories including folding rack (Franke's is extra $100), bottom grid (Kohler doesn't have one, can use those white things but drain is blocked) and collander.
