I was going to put some overgrown zuks in the compost bin (these were too big for stuffing or even grating) when I saw a plea from the wild animal rescue for fruits or veges that were bruised, too big or otherwise inedible.

We took a trip out there and they took them with a big thank you! We also got to enjoy one of the prettiest views in the county and a stroll through their very large, beautiful garden!

Makes me wonder if the bird rescue and large animal rescues would also benefit from excess veges?
