monarch butterflies come out

Hi all “))
I’m excited my monarch cocoons are coming along well and some butterflies have emerged. Here in south Florida it’s storming today. The butterflies are a few hours old. Do I wait till the rain is over to let them out? They are in a basket to protect them . There are some milkweed flowers in the basket at the moment. Thanks for any advice ! This is my first time trying this out .

    I had two hatch in my yard last week, and one is still hanging around. He's sort of taken up residence in the maple tree.
