Black granite is elegant and so are white tops with some dark veining. Your cabinets are pretty.

Cabinets are off-white? Bring some samples home for counters, anything too white or with a white or gray base will make the cabinets seem dingy. Love the floors!

Both are pretty, depends on how busy the backspash will be and your undercab lighting. If you want bright, I’d go with the pie and also use it as the backsplash as well, just big slabs.

@lidia I also could myself gravitating towards the pie one too and having the countertop run up as the backsplash is a nice thought but this one in particular is pretty think I’d say about 3 inches

Three inches will look fabulous, hopefully weight won’t be an issue for your cabinets. There are some nice marble tile that would look pretty with it for the backsplash. My personal style is simple and uncluttered but I do love me an elegant kitchen. I think you’ll do fine but as dan1888 mentioned, cabinet lighting will be important to get you the light bright look you want. Remember, everything on dimmers and make sure you have a comfy chair in that kitchen because it’s going to be so pretty, you’ll want to spend lots of time in there!
