Hi. Someone gave me some seeds telling me that these were Yellow Pear. So I seeded one, and now that they are ripe on the vine, I can assure you that they most certainly are not that. These are red toms, about 2" in length, a sharp pointy tip - and - they are every bit as hard and crunchy as a Granny Smith apple. Taste is fairly nice though not the intense flavour of many heirlooms. What the hey...can anyone help me out?
