I do not grow caladrinia,,, but, maybe too much water?

Calandrinia plants are very easy to care for as they can tolerate prolonged dry periods. They do not like to much water, especially in the winter.

Plants are able to grow as a short lived perennial in warm regions but should be grown as annuals elsewhere.

And from Monrovia:

Once established, water occasionally; more in extreme heat or containers.

Is that Cistanthe (Calandrinia) grandiflora, in Southern California? If so, it will start greening up as cooler temperatures and rains return.
