Lemi Shine pods

Tried the Lemi Shine Toss N Go pods, super suds! This was a smallish medium load of towels. I stopped the cycle and restarted it and ran it through a couple of quick wash cycles to get it all out... My daughter brought it to me from HEB, but I think it’s available on Amazon now too. She tried out the unscented version too and ended up with contact dermatitis ( went to dr, thought she might have chicken pox/shingles). She’s not very savvy about laundry though so who knows what she did.... I’ll try again on a non towel load soon.

I can't use any pods...the same thing happens if I do.

Dishwasher pods can likewise be bad. Cascade Platinum pods cause a bunch of foaming in my dishwasher, to the point that the water spray pressure and spray arm rotation is impaired. My dishwasher senses the water fill level via the pressure load on the pump and will adjust the fill level if necessary. An instance of using one of these pods is the ONLY time in 15 years I noticed it add more water ... because enough water turned into foam/suds that it reduced the actual water level on the pump. Crazy.

The pod is probably too much detergent. I wont use them at all. Towels take very little detergent. when I wash two bath towels, three hand/hair towels, and some washcloths, even a teaspoon of detergent will kick up suds in our moderately hard water.
