here they have several colors going (unless I'm wong and my monitor plays tricks on me) ..it can be very cool for homes with casual, country vibe. Saw something similar irl recently, and was very impressed. They also had 3 colors..of course success depends on how you integrate it all, but it can be a very cozy, non-chalant, inviting space...

Can you post pics of what you want to use? I love both those colors but might worry that they are too close to each other-close enough to look like a mistake (like black and navy can). What tones were you thinking? We just did a green range and aqua tile in our kitchen so I love those colors but the intensity we used was different.

Actually, I could see them working quite well if they were different colors but closely related. 1 would be a blue-green that was more green than blue, and the other one that's more blue than green AND a shade or two darker on the color strip. So they would look related, but distinctly different. OP, glad to see your into having COLOR in your life! If you havent already done so, read up on color wheels, color relationships, color theory. Medium green distressed would be complemented with a red or reddish brown stain. The blue will compete. Is there any stains on woods veering to reddish or rich brown that would suit you ? I'd be careful w distressing on cabinets. May not be a classic look going forward but this choice may have to do w your setting. Best is to get an inspiration picture folder together.

I think if your blue is a greenish blue that echoes the cabinets' tone, it will work. Another factor would be to have the two unequal in intensity -- one should be a fair bit lighter than the other, I think.

When you hold your color samples together, do they seem harmonious to you?

Interesting effect - wood + green always go together, and then add in sky blue - very nature-inspired. I myself been kicking around the idea of a ferny green on the wall + a very light azure sky blue above picture rail and on ceiling Not sure that will happen this house, but maybe some day.
