The quoins may not stand out so much if they are painted the same color as the brick; they'll fade in and (in my opinion) add some nice detail. Just checking too - you are keeping the brick, as well as the paneling in the back and some stucco on the front (the bay window) - or that stucco gone? I don't think you want to add any more textures. I think with the black windows, an all-white body would look great, and then you can have fun with the front door color and add a pop of color.

I like the brick, but, dont like the quoins. They would definitely have to go. However, you have a lot going on with that house. You have brick, you have the quoins and you have siding, and unless you have redone it, there is stucco in the front also. I would remove the brick and the quoins and have siding like the back also put on the front, so the house looks more unified.

We are keeping the brick and having the quoins pulled out. A house down the road painted the quoins and it looks bad. All the stucco has been pulled off and replaced with 10” siding. My rendering changes every day but this is what we did today.
