- Wall art -poster sized prints of your family would work in your family room area (black and white or sepia if you want to stay neutral. Wall art areas: wall over sectional and two walls flanking the patio doors.

-cofee table. Round coffee tables are easier to walk around- Does your couch have a curve?

-area rug busy pattern -not too pricey as a little one is likely to spill

ETA-. Csn you add more panels to the window? Hang the rod as high as possible and stack curtains wider than the window.- it will make the widow feel bigger.
