Pardon my amateur attempt at the drawing below but this should give an idea how I envision things. The deck will be Ipe and I'm thinking about large (24 x 24 or larger) pavers with 2" gaps or so. Not sure whether I want poured concrete, prefab, or natural stone.

The deck will get daily use and I really want a simple but nice outdoor space for my 42" grill, a smoker and table. I have some large boulders ~12' diameter and smaller. Does this design make sense? Thank you!

Following some earlier advice, the pictures are standing in one place and panning from right to left. I've read-up but can't figure-out how to fix the darn sideways picture loading issue.
