I wholeheartedly agree! Mine are only first year bands, planted late this summer, but already showing off with blooms galore and new growth at the same time. I'm holding out high hopes that they can survive winter and look like yours next year. Every one of your photos is absolutely gorgeous.

Flowersaremusic, I can’t really speak of her hardiness we had a very mild winter last year but she went through it with little die back. I hope yours do well for you because it is a great rose.

I had a no hybrid tea policy, until I bought PCdM on a whim at a local greenhouse. She has shown me the virtues of a good HT plus she doesn’t have the typical ht flower form. I prefer the cupped many petalled old fashion look to the upright and tight form of a classic ht.

Wow, yours is a terrific bloomer! I don't grow many HT's either, with the exception of this one and a couple others that don't have a high centered, exhibition form. One reason is that they don't usually do well in my climate. I'm glad we both tried this lovely princess.

Wow, your Princess is looking picture perfect! She really is a wonderful rose, isn’t she? Your blooms look particularly fresh and vibrant. Do you find that her blooms fade quite quickly in the summer sun? Mine do, but I really don’t mind because I usually pick them as quickly as she produces them. She’s the ultimate cutting rose. I feel the same as you and some others mentioned about many Hybrid Teas, but she’s so lovely that I purchased a second one, a year after the first.

What ever kind of care you’re giving your princess, she clearly loves it. She’s an absolutely lovely specimen of this great rose! Lisa

Flowers, I am very glad I gave this rose a spot in my garden. She makes me smile every time I walk past her.

Moses, the flowers do glow and they always seem perfectly formed, every curl in the petals seem perfectly placed.

Lisa, she does seem to faded in the summer sun but she still holds her color better then some of my Austins. She has me trying a few of meillands other hybrid teas. Right now I have Sweet Mademoiselle, she is doing well. I planted her this spring the only thing I don’t like about her is her color. It looks so unnatural. I also ordered Dee-Lish from palatine to try next year.

Lol! I have Sweet Mademoiselle, too! I’m NOT fond of her color either. She looked better in the cool spring, but is back to her lurid, artificial color now. She has got to go! Lisa

I'm eager to see how the Princess and some other new ones that are blowing me away with vigor will do this winter. I will be sorely disappointed if I lose any of these to winter. Besides the Princess, the others are Augusta Luise, Poseidon and Nahema, all just bursting with new growth and mature looking blooms.
