Thanks, Ladies. Bev, I do have a two foot stack of quilting books - some I bought, and some that were given to me. I have made many quilts from them. I've also made some of Bonnie Hunter's, and I've gotten ideas from pictures on the internet. I've never really designed my own. I've always considered myself more of a technician than an artist. This one came from a picture on The Quilting Board. The pattern was one I thought I could replicate without too much trouble.

Using that 'star' for a cornerstone really gives this a special effect look. Good job. Now that you've done this without a pattern, you won't think twice about doing another one. :-) Break it down, graph it out, write down cutting measurements.

Adorable quilt, Lois. I don't use alot of pastels either, but I do like what you did with them.

Very sweet - love the darker green background - it really makes the pastels pop.
