I'm so excited. Thrips and whiteflies have been destroying the buds on this plant for years, but this year I bit the bullet and used the Bayer systemic. I just wanted one bloom before I leave here. I'm going to apply another application just to make sure the thrips don't get them, this year. I hate using poison, but this is my favorite plant, and not to have flowers on it is just NOT acceptable! I've been waiting four years for these flowers.
