Le Blanc Linen Wash Scents

I used up my bottle of original scent and accidentally ordered the lavender to replace it, which seems too strong and too sweet and nothing like actual lavender (note that this is after using it on sheets--neither kind smelled great in the bottle). Has anyone tried any of the other scents? Portfolio sounds kind of interesting.

I just bought the blue violet, after having used the Portfolio before. The blue violet is nice, a little softer scented than Portfolio. Of course they all smell terrible in the bottle. Unfortunately I don't have much scent left after laundering and extra rinses. I was considering to try their infusion scents or maybe the linen spray to get some scent back. I wish they offered scent samples given not all of their retailers carry all of their scents.

Thanks, Cal. I'm tempted to buy the pack of small samples, though it has two of the ones I've tried and I don't really want the fragrance free. Does Portfolio smell like they describe it?

I was going to buy the small set as well, but the price per oz with shipping added didn't make sense so I winged it with the Blue Violet. Portfolio reminds me of Jean Paul Gaultier's 'Le Male' cologne, if you look it up, the 'notes' are similar.

Has anyone tried the Le Blanc Infusions? I'm liking the Blue Violet scent, but there is no scent left once I'm done washing/drying. Couldn't find much info on the infusions and dosing. Thanks.

I bought the sample pack and then bought a big bottle of the portfolio infusion . My second favorite was the blue violet. Buy the sample set and then give the 2 scents you’ve already tried as gifts, in a Christmas stocking for adult kid or gift basket housewarming or bridal shower gift. As an FYI, I use a small capful in the fabric softener dispenser, so my bottle is lasting forever!

Thanks for this info! Do the directions say to put it in the main wash or is it intended for the rinse cycle? (Info was vague online) I don't use fabric softener so either way works for me.

Cal, no I bought the Infusion instead of the wash. It is LeBlancs version of a fabric softener, but it’s not like a regular softener, it doesn’t leave a film. This way I can use my unscented detergent that contains enzymes but no brighteners, then I add the infusion for the scent and to soften. I like my wash as my sheets are a dark plum color so I am trying to avoid them fading. I can also then buy different scents and just change it when I feel like it.
