Did you have frost on the lawn at the time he was delivering? I get those if somebody traipses over my lawn while it's frosty or, during the winter, if frozen, from the shattered cells as they compress them.

Otherwise, the lawn's "smart" enough to deflate the cells when it gets cold and wait for better weather!

Nope. It was a warm, sunshiney day. It hasn’t been cold enough here yet for frost.

I’m thinking it’s the latter! I’m sure it was an accident. I personally don’t walk on other people’s lawns unless I get the ok from them, but that is just me. I have more respect for those who take pride in the appearance of their property.
