I agree that the toilet is better for the window. I like the efficient ceiling exhaust for the steamy shower, which will keep the room free of steam and condensation, but does not get me cold with a draft (mine is about a foot and a half outside the shower stall). A window in a shower requires things to be put in exactly right to maintain the waterproofing of that wall and to protect the window itself. Pain in the butt, more work. If you have a window in the toilet room, it may be opened and the person using the room can see out a little, at least the sky. I like to be able to look out and see what the weather will be when I go out. Sitting there, I have time to do that. I also like to see the moon in the sky at night. My in-window blinds allow me to look up through the slats to see up, but no one can see in.
