Beautiful table!

You have several options for chairs! Sticking with simple lines and alternative materials to wood will be your best bet. From there, it will come down to personal preferences with style and comfort. Here are a few options to consider:

Happy shopping!

Love me some comfort!

lovely table. Are you sure you can't tolerate the chairs? Here's why:

Once upon a time, we loved a dining table (Paula's table) but had no love the chairs (Mike's chairs) that coordinated with it.

We bought the table and searched for chairs..... And searched and searched.

The problem was that the table was a tiny bit taller (31.5 ") than the specifed height of 30", which is the standard and we wanted upholstered chairs. Many chairs had spevified seat height, but that did not factor the human body sitting in a chair and the sinking factor. Many chairs had us feeling like children sitting at a chest high table (we are tall folks 6'3 and 6'0).

After a YEAR of searching, we found PB's Hayes chair to be perfect, plus the concave back is sooooooooo comfortable. It is the perfect chair. (PB should pay me for this post)

DK - A lovely chair indeed!! I just see stains - not that we are slobs, but you know!! I always worry about fabric! This is the only dining room in the house so will get good use! Mountain home with a transitional, rustic, slightly modern style (I guess!). I completely appreciate the chair height discussion coming from another tall couple!!

But ofcourse I could change the fabric...duh!!!
