It’s a very neutral, no harm room. You don’t need more little things. You need art and lighting. Are you pleased with the fabrics and the rug coloring so far? I love the marble top table. Use it as end table if you get something bigger for the chair/window arrangement.

IMO before I did anything else, I would move the furniture so the TV was easier to view. Move it to between the windows with the sofa and chairs opposite and take another photo of the room. That arrangement is more conducive to living.

I would move the TV to the window wall. Place it on a low and shallow cabinet. That would allow for a couple of different chair arrangements. What is the wall we can't see?

You need a coffee table and art on the walls.

Can you move the sofa so that it faces the tv? the Back will define the entryway.

If you like this layout best, can you angle the chairs more? It seems like only 1-2 people can comfortably view the TV from the sofa and no one from the chairs. Maybe a small footstool or perhaps a ottoman-style coffee table to prop up feet.

Light fixture is very pretty. I like the wood artwork but it doesn't have quite enough contrast with the wall. The t.v. stand feels a bit farmhouse-y to me. When I put in search on Wayfair...Modern Farmhouse tv console.....this is one of the consoles that came up. Similar to Katinparadise's choice.

Have you tried your art, between the windows. I like what you have, but I think the art would bring more color to the space, next to the chairs. Also would you be adding window panels (drapes) to the windows?

I bring up the drapes, because they will take up wall space and make decorating that wall smaller.

ittle thing but I don't 'vote' for first console that had contrasting light doors [just drew attention to tv more]. But the one with books no also. Maybe you'd like very 3 subtle vases in with...nlo need to buy new imo. Barn doors not necessary imo.

Can I just add I think your light fixture is much too small or maybe just too simple for the space, and could be a great way to add some more pizazz to the room. because you are going with a larger console and larger art the light fixture keeps shrinking.

Idk about you, but for a few projects over the years, I've taken a small saw and cut a household item. If 6" rod is a bit long, low for the room, maybe cutting 2 or 3" would be ok.....?

The rods need to be threaded to attach to the fixture on both ends.

I would skip the mantel on the display option above the couch. I might just do the 4 prints lengthwise or what if you stacked 2 on each side of the new tv stand instead.

The tv console looks great, so does the three frames, much better impact than the 4. The stubby little fake tree should probably be retired and replaced with a fig, or maybe just open space. A floor lamp might be nice in this room as well. I would put that basket you have by the sofa maybe in that corner and put the end table on that end. Put a floor lamp on the other end. For a coffee table I'm thinking round or oval, maybe and ottoman with a tray since the tv isnt facing the sofa an ottoman might be nice so you can angle yourself toward it with your feet up..

Another thought, have you ever tried the sofa facing the tv ?

Also What about a different, rug, perhaps even square, but either way a bit larger and maybe a little more color to it ..

I think your room looks really nice! I am confused though- which console do you have now? It all looks so nice. I think the arrangement over the sofa (yes, minus the wreath) is great.
