So you can't rearrange I guess and put the bed against another wall? Can't see the rest of the room. I don't think hanging a pic is going to help any with the off centered look.

I can’t. The opposite wall is a full closet. The room is extremely tiny, and just barely fits this king size bed.

There's nothing inherently wrong with asymmetry, but some kind of artwork might provide visual balance. The artwork would need to be large enough to hold its own with the window.

The artwork suggestion from RappArchetecture sounds good to me. Another option might be adding a couple shelves the size/width of the window.

Are you adding a window treatment? Just wondering if you could simulate a larger/wider window with that.

So, I was going to add a window treatment, but the night stands are floating, and mounted to the wall. I don’t know how I could make a window treatment work?

I might continue the sill to the right and place some layered art on it (secured so they don't fall on you). Kind of like this with at least one large piece to somewhat balance the size of the window.

A gallery arrangement could work, but I think it would have to be very cohesive to keep it from looking too crowded or jumbled:

I think you've received some excellent advice on artwork. If this were my room, I'd go for a "gallery wall" and make the window one piece of that gallery.

@houssaon it’s a condominium, so I can’t. I might be able to petition the board to extend the window, but I’m not sure if the cost would be worth it

1. Take a picture of the existing window.
2. Have Kinkos make a printout the same size as the actual window.
3. Paste the printout on the wall to the right of the real window.

Extend the sill shelf and put a mirror the same size as the window on it. It will reflect the rooms light as the window does.

I have no helpful advice on this matter but would love to know where you got your bedside lights!

1. Attach a video camera to the outside of the house facing the same direction as the window.
2. Attach a flat screen TV to the wall to the right of the window.
3. Send the camera feed to the TV.
4. People will think there's one wide window.
5. Optional. To improve the illusion, paint the window frame black.

I agree with Frosty: Nobody will notice the window if you mount the bed on the wall.

Create another window w/frame the same size - emphasis on the same size -- and put a mirror behind it and hang it on the wall so you can center the bed beneath two windows. If the measurements don't "add up" to do that,

just add a horizontal trim/frame board on both sides of the existing window (top and bottom) that match the frame of the window-- investing in new boards if you cannot match the old -- and paint the boards and the area between them the same white as the window, then add whatever art or pictures and/or mirrors you like on that white wall on both sides of the window.

Wait a second! I just looked closer at the picture...why the heck don’t you remove that nightstand from the wall, center the bed under the window and mount the nightstand on the other side?

@frostyfootball there are 2 nightstands, one on each side of the bed. There isn’t enough space to move the bed under the window, it would be pushed up against the wall, and still not be centered

I would remove the left nightstand and move the bed so the end of the window is above the left edge of the bed. Having the bed off-center is as bad as having the window off-center. If you don’t need a window cover for privacy, I would hang a piece of art over the right part of the bed,not to hang beyond the right edge of the bed. If you need a window treatment for privacy, hang it at the same height as the other window treatment and from the edge of the bed to the other edge of the bed.

@felizlady. The bed is perfectly centered in the room, there are 2 nightstands. The photo is taken at an angle because the room is so small

Frostyfootball had the same idea I was going to suggest...center bed under the window...maybe a floor lamp on the wall side and your night stand on the other. You mentioned there wasn't room so I would just drape the wall from corner to corner.

Hang ceiling to floor curtains behind the entire headboard and tables similar to those on the adjacent wall. Or hang curtains just over the window at ceiling height and use a blind over the window similar to what you have on the adjacent one.

If you want to get really detailed (and budget-friendly), you can get some good art on Etsy. Lots of prints, and also downloadable files, which you can print in any size and frame yourself.

Sorry, I just read the comment about the source of the art in one of the pics I posted. Unfortunately (as far as purchasing any of it goes) it was just an ad I saw on Pinterest for Lumin Lamp House. So it's advertising the lamp shown.

Yesterday, I also almost posted some pics of round wall decor because I thought it might look nice and balance the window.

Similar to someone else's idea above would be to frame another "window" exactly like the first (no mirror needed) then get matching roman shades and leave the one on the fake window down, while having the other open when you want. Or do the same thing, create a frame with a mirror where the glass would be and hang sheerish shades or draperies over both windows, to hide the mirror - but it will reflect some light like a real window would.

Wouldn't have to be this heavily curtained, but it gives you the idea. The dark window is fake but a mirror back there would look even more convincing:

the idea of a fake window masked with sheers is very creative. but for me personally, if I used that room a lot during the day, it would bug me that one of the "windows" was always dark. it's still asymmetrical in a different way. it would also bug me because -- even if nobody else noticed -- I would always know it's fake.

This whole thing is designed to fit a twin bed. With smaller bed, and with removing the table on the left in the picture and replacing it with a standing lamp maybe, you can balance everything in this room. Downsizing the furniture will solve the problem. Good luck.
