Hi, We are in the very early stages of redoing our kitchen. We do not plan on any contruction, but are willing to rearrange appliances. This is a 1919 Craftsman Bungalow, so we want to honor the originality of the home, but make it more functional, We are planning on Kraftmaid cabinets and new counter tops. We have already purchased & installed a new Kitchenaid fridge & dishwasher (as the one that came with the house were in horrendous condition). We have taken the pantry out that was next to the fridge (to make room for new fridge). the square "above" the 2 stairs is an old brick chimney (that we love), Previous homeowners had a 4 top table in the area near the basement stairs, but we are strictly using the dining room for eating. We also have a small radiator by the back door on the shared wall with the powder room. HELP!! We have zero imagination on how to make this a nice, functional kitchen! The kitchen also gets a ton of sunlight during the day. I can provide other pics as well. Thanks in advance!
