For the most restful, secure sleep it is proven that the bed should be placed on the wall opposite the entry door. However, that won't solve your "centering" dilemma, so the window wall is better. Hope you're not already in the building process too far and can make the adjustment of moving the windows further apart. Take into account properly hung drapes if they're in your plan. With the wall of glass opposite, you might opt to eliminate those two windows.

1) If it's too late to move the windows, I'd switch chandelier to a flushmount, so it won't matter so much how it's centered relative to the bed. You'll have reading lamps to actually light the bed area anyway, so overall ambient light is what you need.

2) I'd like to see where it is "proven," deco.

I would center it between the 2 windows and center it to the bed. It will look more intentional than having it centered in the whole room, which includes the walkway on the other side.

Thank you all so much for your advice… I should have mentioned, this is in addition/renovation to a historic home so we had very strict rules regarding window placement. These cannot be changed. We have already been approved by the historic commission and we are not allowed to change… framing is in process and windows cannot be altered. I am leaning towards the most recent comment regarding keeping the bed as drawn in the plan, centering the chandelier between the two windows and over the end of the bed… this appears to be centered over the bed even if we decide to place the bed on the wall with the two windows. And you are right calidesign… There is a natural walkway into the room on the left side, somewhat making the bed part of the room over to the right… Which means the chandelier will essentially be centered in that bed space.
