What about raising the curtain rods and extending the curtains behind the bed, it would give you a really posh look

Headboard feels a bit close to the wall color, so they sort of run together. I see that the paint is lighter on the other walls, though, so hard to suggest a fix. Wouldn't hang anything over it though.

Would you consider painting the walls? A more cheerful color may be nice. If you have hardwood floors under the carpet, even better! I was going to say something about the TV wire staring me in the face but I see you addressed it.

If you are only looking to change pieces of furniture and curtains and things like that, your place seems fine as is.

I think if I moved the dresser under the tv, there wouldn’t be enough room to walk thru. I’ll check pier one and target of lamps! I was thinking navy shade?

Buy fabric and use a simple seam or fabric glue to make the seam that is the least expensive way, for the rod I have used a long piece of pvc or wood dowl before to make long spans and just painted it.

can I add that I think you should mount the tv over the tall dresser and then angle it to watch much as you have it now? It would look much better overall than a floating up high tv if you know what I mean.

I see what you mean, but then I’m afraid we would get lazy and never push it back up against the wall and I would lose all the space I use on top of the dresser. Lol!
