I like the left one, too. The pink frame sets off the center kitty more than the gray frame.

Sharon has a good point, looking more closely at the whole drawing, your pattern is messed up on the bottom two rows. You should swap the two rows around so that the now bottom row becomes the row immediately under the cat, and the row now immediately under the cat becomes the bottom row.

Yes the drawing is off but I corrected it. Going with the pink around the cat.
