It is a lot more rustic than your room, but if that one rustic piece in particular appeals to you, that doesn't matter.

If, however, your coffee table is in two parts -- if the top is not attached to the base -- you should expect accidents, don't be surprised if stuff gets broken, (including likely (eventually) even the table top itself.

If the table top is in two parts and if you want to hook them together, it can be done. A piece of plywood slightly larger than the top of the base (painted black) could be affixed to the base and then the top attached to that plywood with screws.

On a positive note, it blends with the wood floor.

It is no too rustic as long as you like it.

I do like it -- but then, my tastes for furnishing any room are usually much more "country" than "formal".

To me, the coffee table helps "ground" the room. Having it and the mid century modern chairs and that wood top on the end table keep the overall room from seeming as formal as all that "white", including upholstery, (at first glance) suggests.

The coffee table blends beautifully with the art and sofa. The organic nature of the table is exactly what your room needed. Good job!

I think the table itself is fun and adds interest. And I don't mind it with your furnishings.

Not nearly large enough to compete with the scale of the sectional

Need more info. Do you have young children? I like the look, but the practical side of me wonders if anyone can actually reach the table to set a drink? I remember this room from your previous thread. Did you try bunching tables?

Thank you ! I do have children. I can reach the table fine from sectional not so much from the chairs but that will be an issue with any table Unless I get something really big ? and I’m not a fan of bunching tables.

Maybe if you broke the sectional into two pieces and then also pulled the chair around to make three seating areas around the coffee table it might look just right. Kind of like the four chairs facing a small table thing on the Robeson design YouTube channel.

So each of the sectional pieces are in opposite side of the coffee table and the chairs are also around the coffee table (either together or on opposite sides. So that people walking down the hall don’t walk through the seating area but instead go around it.

FLO Mangan , I believe it was you that suggested the shelves right next to tv ? I’ve done that and love it. I’m still trying to figure out the best decoration for the shelves but it looks some much better already ! I also have plans to follow some of your previous suggestions! So Thank you

love the table but i think it's a little bit off with the couch. but with your chairs it fits very well!! overall i think it's fine to keep it but that's just my opinion! :)
