PROBLEM with foundation

Where to being...
there seems to be one thing after another, but this is the most upsetting.
we are Finally able to put addition on our home. It has been upsetting from day one. Right now I feel I have a major issue going on. Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Where The old and new foundation meet water is now coming in my addition in the basement. I had said many times that there was a crack where the new and old foundation met and everyone just dismissed me. Now there is a bigger issue then the way they laid the floor. I’m about to lose my mind. And this guy came highly recommend. Why are we so special to have all these issues.
also the dirt has yet to be graded from my home and we are getting a lot of rain today. Not to mention how much NJ had in the spring.

What do the cracks look like in the other side of the foundation wall, as far as you can see?

The spider is a nice touch.

I would like to hear what others think the issue is. When I have brought this up to the contractor he dismissed it as surface crack and said it isn’t an issue. I have felt the is was an issue from the beginning.

As i said before, hire an independent inspector who will look out for your interests. And document everything with emails

Typical cold joint. Hopefully the contractor installed steel rebars. . Excavate, pressure wash, fill in, install waterproofing, dimple mat to drains, backfill.

Get this water away from your foundation. Install downspout extension as far as you can.

The spider is better than all the fingers in photos, pointing at whatever, with chipped nails and ripped cuticles memorialized for the world to see. I can't unsee some of those.
