Check your local FB buying and selling groups, thrift stores, and Craigslist. A bit of a spruce up for a well made vintage piece will keep you within your budget and be 10x better quality than new.

What are you planning on displaying?IMO displaying china is a dated idea since china should be used ans washed often

I want it to be in the far wall of my dinning area... I have an open floor plan. I am open to alternative suggestions

I saw that cabinet I. The model home of my community and liked it... I again am open to an alternative shelving idea

That looks nice... Would you happen to have a link?

Tracy, type Ikea in your search bar

easy-peasy

If you have wonderful things you want to display in this area...then a cabinet like this is worth looking for...but if you love art ..this is another option for that wall...if you have things to store in the area ..a console with drawers or storage space would work ...leaving room above for a lovely decor piece or a striking mirror...an open space is okay til you find something perfect and/or functional for your needs...

It is sort of hard to make specific suggestions without pictures of the room and the area you are looking to fill...

I see. I am actually moving into my new home this week and was hoping to get some ideas and make some purchases before. I can definitely provide more pictures next week once the room and those adjacent to it are up

Definately not Ikea with that trim But you might get a simialr look with Ikea for a decent price.
