Really why worry about the pillows while you sleep and honestly I never understand the need for a bunch of pillows with no use.

When we had extra pillows, we put them on the dresser. Not room for a bench at the foot of the bed. and really never thought of having another piece of furniture just for extra pillows.

Thank you for your feedback. The bench is really for several uses - I’d like to have somewhere to sit at the foot of the bed to put on shoes ( I have a leaner mirror over in the corner), and if possible it would be good to have one with storage to hold any extra blankets.

In terms of space, our master is nearly 30 feet long, so has enough space to handle a bench at the end.

That bed style changes everything.

• Do you select a wood bench or upholstered bench?
• Do you try to match the wood or the linens?
• Add an accent color?
• What happens when the 'arms' are higher than the footboard?

That is not a good place for a bench with arms.

Thank you - I would prefer an upholstered bench but just can’t find anything wide enough - especially with arms. I get the arms higher than headboard thing - that makes sense.

I’ll see if I can find one without arms instead.
