Yea I am very surprised as well. I just happened to notice the bloom as I was leaving the house. I had to stop and go back I couldn’t believe it.
It is called a Bonsai or Bonzai. I can’t remember the spelling.

Probably that isn't the cultivar name but rather your plant had been trained to be sold as a bonsai. As here:

In other words bonsai is a cultivation technique, the growing of dwarfed potted trees. And not usually a name for a kind of plant.

Then it's Camellia hiemalis 'Bonanza', known for being one of the first sasanquas to bloom each fall, and developing a dense, upright habit about 6 ft. tall.
