West Elm -- what do you think?

What do you think of this bed? My son asked me to order it. He just bought bedding that is white and grey. The blue bed is returnable. Any other color is custom and cannot be returned. The blue is **kind** of neutral but I prefer getting it in a color that looks more intentional. The performance canvas look great and seems to have a texture. He wants a headboard that is under 40" from the floor to the top of the headboard so it doesn't obstruct a window.

I haven't bought anything from West Elm for a long time. A few years ago their quality was top notch. This bed is rated for commercial use. Should I go ahead and order it in grey? Ruby bed by West Elm

This is a 2nd option. But, it is listed at 40" and that really is the max height -- the ruby bed fits right under the window trim and this one goes right up to the top. But, this one can be returned. Show Wood bed

I would be very careful of any fabric headboard hair oil makes ugly stains that rarely can be removed . I guess my question is how old is your son.

He is 26. I will keep looking. He actually wants to take the bed -- and bedding -- out of his bedroom at my home. LOL!

The guys who put it together for me said it was well made. It cleans up well with a microfiber cloth. I've had it for six years.

That looks like a vinyl headboard not the same as fabric. If he wants the bed let him takre it why do you want to get him something else if he is happy with that then you get to get a new one for your new guest room.

West Elm sells thousands of products in hundreds of categories. "Sorely disappointed by WE quality" simply doesn't mean anything. A sofa, picture frame, and butter dish have nothing is common and WE sells all three.

I'm looking at Joss and Main now. @Patricia Colwell Consulting I've thought about doing that -- but the one I have is working fine and I don't really want to replace it. If I were going to spend money I would spend it somewhere else. I am not paying for the bed for my son. He only asked me to order it.

I might just wait and see if Nebraska Furniture Mart has anything. I didn't have any luck when I was buying the beds I have now in my sons/now spare bedrooms in terms of the height I was looking for.

What I am really excited about is that I found removable wallpaper on Joss and Main that I love. I might do just a couple of areas in my home -- powder room -- back of shelves -- etc.

The Zoelle looks like a school wood project IMO so the first one would be my choice from those 2 Wall paper is making a huge comeback and removable is awesome.

I don't believe in buying things that you don't love -- sometimes that is a curse because it can lead to indecision. I don't love any of the beds yet so I am not pulling the trigger.

But, the good news @Patricia Colwell Consulting is that I have bought the wallpaper. I am so excited!! I would love to put some fun paper in my powder room, on the wall behind my bed, on one wall in the dining room. But, my walls have a texture so it might not work. So, for now, I will be updating some shelves and furniture. My sons house has less texture so I bought one roll to put somewhere -- not sure yet. I'm looking forward to it. I love the look but previously it was a nightmare to remove.
